ACTION REQUESTED:
Adopt Budget Amendment #27 to recognize and appropriate additional revenue in the Building Code Department.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Departmental Residential and Commercial permit fees are trending above the adopted budget. Year-end actuals are projected to exceed the adopted budget by roughly $350,000. This budget amendment will recognize $350,000 in additional revenue and appropriate this amount to offset operational expenses with the department budget.
