ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to 1) negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item 2) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and 3) terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager’s discretion.

BACKGROUND:
On February 2, 2024, the Procurement Department partnered with Facilities and Fleet Management to issue an Invitation for Bid 2024-025 Detention Center Rooftop HVAC Replacements. On February 22, 2024, 8 bids for the title project were received and processed. All bids were tabulated, reviewed, and certified by Procurement and Facilities Management. The bids ranged from $59,900.00 to $135,189.00. Staff recommends that the project be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Trane U.S. Inc, in the amount of $59,900.00.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funding is available within the adopted FY24 budget to support the contract amount of $59,900.00.
