PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:

BACKGROUND:

Union County Water is in need of a licensed and qualified Service Provider to meet its needs for repairs to water and wastewater pumps and motors on an as needed basis.

The Procurement Department partnered with Water and Wastewater Operations to issue a Request for Proposal RFP 2025-039 Pump and Motor Repair Services . On April 2, 2025, three proposals were received and reviewed by an evaluation team in accordance with applicable evaluation criteria for this project. As a result, the team requests approval to enter into a contract with the top scoring/ranked preferred offeror, Randall Supply, Inc., to provide Pump and Motor Repair services.

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

The anticipated annual cost for this service is $100,000. Since this contract contains a 3-year initial term with two one-year renewal options, a total of $500,000 is estimated to be spent. Funding is available in the adopted FY2026 budget with future expenditures subject to annual BOCC budget appropriation.
