ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to (i) negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item (ii) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and (iii) terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager’s discretion.

BACKGROUND:
One June 26, 2023, the Procurement Department partnered with Transportation to issue an Invitation for Bid 2023-084 Transportation Office Furniture. On July 25, 2023, 4 bids for the title project were received and processed. All bids were tabulated, reviewed, and certified by Transportation and the Procurement Department. The bids ranged from $110,290.29 to $845,845.15. Staff recommends that the project be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Interior Systems, Inc., in the amount of $110,290.29.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funding is available within the adopted UC Progress Building account to support the contract amount of $110,290.29. The FY22 5307 Grant will be used for reimbursement, which is a split cost of 80% Federal ($88,232,.23) and 20% Local ($22,059.06).
