BACKGROUND:
The North Carolina Department of State Highway Patrol has built a radio tower off Rehobeth Road in Waxhaw and has agreed to allocate space on the tower and in the equipment building for Union County to install emergency communication radio equipment to support in-building and on street radio coverage for emergency response personnel.
