ACTION REQUESTED:

Authorize the County Manager to 1) negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item, 2) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and 3) terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager's discretion.

None.

BACKGROUND:

Union County Sheriff’s Office is requesting to purchase the services from Vehicle Installs, LLC. Union County Sheriff’s Office can assist the County Install Shop with twenty (20) Chevrolet Tahoes that need equipment installed in a timely manner by using the services of Vehicle Installs, LLC. Vehicle Installs, LLC states they can complete five (5) vehicle upfit installations per week. With this production, this would help assist the backlog at the County Install Shop.

FINANCIAL IMPACT: 

The anticipated cost for this service is $69,000.00. Funding is budgeted accordingly for FY2025.
