ACTION REQUESTED:

Adopt the Amendment to the Union County Procurement Policy.

June 5, 2023, Regular Meeting, Agenda Item #23-335, Policy Approved

BACKGROUND:

On June 5, 2023, the Board of Commissioners approved adopting a new Procurement Policy to assist with providing a balance between facilitating the current business of the County in an efficient and timely manner and ensuring that the procurement process is fair and accessible to vendors.  The proposed amendment modifies Section 3.5, Procurement of Other Services, of the Procurement Policy to modify dollar thresholds consistent with the County Manager’s contracting authority.
