ACTION REQUESTED:
1) Authorize the County Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item, exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager's discretion and 2) adopt Budget Amendment #21 to recognize, receive, and appropriate the $12,500 to be received from Town of Wingate.

None.
BACKGROUND:
The Town of Wingate reached out to the County to inquire about the County Planning Department staff acting as staff for the town and perform the duties of the Town’s Land Use Administrator. County staff and staff from the Town have discussed this arrangement and both feel comfortable with the arrangement. County staff also feel that they can take on these responsibilities with little impact current levels of service.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$12,500 in FY2025.
