BACKGROUND:
This petition is a request to rezone one parcel of land totaling 24.67 acres appearing on the tax map as tax parcel being Tax Map# 09-040-017, on Austin Chaney Road in the Monroe Township from Residential Agricultural 40,000 SF Lots (RA-40) to Residential Agricultural 200,000 SF Lots (RA-200). This is a straight rezoning, meaning there is no proposed site plan or conditions associated with this request. A community meeting was not required for this rezoning, although one nearby property owner did call and state they opposed the proposed rezoning.
