Recognize Senior Nutrition Coordinator Kenneth Prusiensky for heroic actions to assist a senior adult who was choking.

BACKGROUND:
Union County Community Support & Outreach employee Kenneth Prusiensky was filling in for a site manager at the Indian Trail senior meal site on September 27, when he noticed a client was choking. He rushed over to perform abdominal thrusts. He was able to successfully dislodge the food particle and clear the upper airway, allowing the client to breathe again.
The Management Team recognized Kenneth’s actions by surprising him with the Lifesaver Award on Nov. 20.
