ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to 1) execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item, 2) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and 3) terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager's discretion.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
May 15, 2023, Regular Meeting, Agenda Item # 22-394 - Board of County Commissioners approved yearly maintenance purchase order.
BACKGROUND:
Laserfiche is the Enterprise Content Management system for Union County via contract number 2969 with MCCI, LLC. Union County is required to pay yearly maintenance on the software (per license) and any featured add-ons including web forms, web portals and database workflows. The Information Technology department has utilized the contractual services of MCCI, LLC for Laserfiche services since 2012. MCCI, LLC has been effective and efficient in meeting our enterprise content management system needs, and we are requesting to continue this service for an additional one year.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The anticipated annual cost for this service is $111,522.00 and is budgeted accordingly for FY24.
