ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item.

BACKGROUND:
Fleet requests the approval to purchase five replacement vehicles and eight expansion vehicles with funds approved in the FY27 budget. The five replacements have met their useful life in accordance with the vehicle replacement policy. One additional replacement is for a total loss vehicle and has been budgeted accordingly.
N.C.G.S 143-129(e)(3) and N.C.G.S 143-129(e)(9) allow local governments to make purchases through a competitively bid North Carolina Statewide Term Contract or a Group Purchasing Program.
The purchase of the vehicles will be made using North Carolina State Term Contract 2510A quoted by Deacon Jones Ford.
