BACKGROUND:
As part of the FY 2024 Capital Improvement Plan, the Board approved CPO 351, establishing account 40080200 for a Phone System Replacement. This project will transition the county's phone system from traditional desk phones to a cloud-based platform.
Staff recommends reducing account 40080060 and transferring $87,741.18 to account 40080200 to support the current Phone System Replacement project. This action consolidates funding for related telecommunications infrastructure and ensures the prior project's unused balance is applied to the county's ongoing technology modernization efforts.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$87,741 available for utilization in the new phone system replacement project.
