ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the BOCC Chairman to take administrative action as necessary to provide an annual increase in compensation of $9,605.12 to the Clerk to the Board, effective January 1, 2026.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to G.S. 153A-92(a), the Board of County Commissioners is charged with the responsibility of determining the compensation of all county officers and employees, including the appointed position of the Clerk to the Board.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
No additional funding required. Sufficient funding is available in the FY2026 budget.
