ACTION REQUESTED:
Approve budget amendment #29 to transfer excess fuel/utility budget to cover increased costs of Juvenile Detention program.

BACKGROUND:
The County pays a per youth/per day fee to the state to house Union County youths in protective custody. Both the fee charged by the state and the total number of Union County youths has increased in the past year. This amendment will transfer $375,000 in existing budget within the general fund for the purpose of fully funding this growing expense.
