BACKGROUND:
Per section XIV, XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, and XX of the FY 2025 Adopted Operating and Capital Budget Ordinance, management reports the following County Manager Budget Amendments (CMBA) made by the County Manager for the first quarter of fiscal year 2025.

CMBA 1: To roll unused ARPA enabled funds from FY24 to FY25 to fund Public Health, Public Communications positions and Detention Officer positions for half year.
CMBA 2: To appropriate additional funding for Juvenile Crime Prevention Program (JPCC) and transfer funding to align with FY25 Funding Plan.
CMBA 3: Transfer Centralized Revenues & Expenditures Vehicle Capital Outlay funds to the Sheriff's Office for approved Vehicle replacements.
CMBA 4: Transfer Centralized Revenues & Expenditures vehicle capital outlay funds to departments receiving the approved vehicle replacements- the Fire Marshal's Office, Social Services Administration, and Building Code Enforcement.
CMBA 5: To appropriate 2024 Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPA) funds and municipal contributions for Critical Intersection Design Projects.
CMBA 6: To appropriate Partners for Green Growth Grant from NC Wildlife Resources Commission and transfer local match for field work associated with development of a rural land use plan.
CMBA 7: Transfer Centralized Revenues & Expenditures Vehicle Capital Outlay funds to the Sheriff's Office for upfit equipment for approved vehicle replacements.
CMBA 8: Transfer Centralized Revenues & Expenditures Vehicle Capital Outlay funds to the Sheriff's Office for upfit equipment for approved vehicle replacements.
