BACKGROUND:
The Procurement Department partnered with Facilities & Fleet Management to issue Request for Proposals RFP 2026-071 Landscape Services. On June 23, 2026, eleven proposals were received and reviewed by an evaluation team in accordance with applicable evaluation criteria for this project. The top ranked three firms/vendors were invited to shortlist interview/presentations. As a result, the team requests approval to enter into a contract with the top scoring/ranked preferred offeror, Lawrence Companies, LLC D/B/A Providence Landscape Group, to provide landscape services. This contract has an initial term of three years with two, one-year renewal options at the sole discretion of the County and is subject to annual budget appropriation.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The anticipated annual cost for this service is $542,880.00. Since this contract contains an initial term of three years with two one-year renewal options, a total of $2,714,400.00 is estimated to be spent. Funding is available in the adopted FY2027 budget with future expenditures subject to annual BOCC budget appropriation.
