To adopt the FY 2027 Operating and Capital Budget Ordinance and the associated tax rates and fees.

BACKGROUND:
The Board of County Commissioners is requested to adopt the FY 2026-2027 Annual Budget Ordinance for Union County, establishing appropriations and revenues for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, in accordance with N.C. General Statute 159-13.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Approval of the financial plan for the next fiscal year.
