ACTION REQUESTED:
Appoint one member to fill unexpired term as the Higher Education Representative on the Centralina Workforce Development Board and appoint one member to fill an unexpired term on the Home and Community Care Block Grant Advisory Committee
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
None.
BACKGROUND:
1. Centralina Workforce Development Board* - one vacancy for an unexpired term as the Higher Education Representative (term ends June 30, 2027) due to a resignation effective June 30, 2026.
Two applications were received as follows:
a. Dr. Mary Jordan
b. Jonathan McCollum
2. Home and Community Care Block Grant Advisory Committee - one vacancy for a Community representative (unexpired term ending December 2026).
One application was received: James Wilde
*The deadline for submitting applications was advertised for Tuesday, August 11, at 5:00p.m. We received another application on Wednesday, August 12, at approximately 10:00a.m.
