ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County.

1) April 3, 2023, Regular Meeting, Agenda Item # 23-189 - Board approved original construction contract
2) August 12, 2024, Regular Meeting, Agenda Item # 24-554 - Board approved change order CO1
3) September 3, 2024, Regular Meeting, Agenda Item # 24-608 - Board approved change order CO2
BACKGROUND:
With guidance from the UC Sheriff’s Office, the Facilities and Fleet Management Department is requesting the Board to authorize the County Manager to terminate this contract for convenience, if in the best interest of the County, according to Article 14.4 of A201, General Conditions of the Contract for Construction.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
It is anticipated the County will receive credit for any uncompleted work.
