ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the allocation of 0.52 FTE to convert position 418507 from non-benefited part-time to benefited full-time.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
None.
BACKGROUND:
The Register of Deeds office has three non-benefited part-time positions currently that are filled. The Register of Deeds office would like to convert one of the non-benefited part-time positions to a benefited full-time position. This position is needed to provide assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Register of Deeds office as well as passport services. This individual is a passport agent as well and could serve in numerous areas in the office when there is a demand in service. This individual also can help assist in preservation projects that require a “hands on” application process. This individual has over 30 years of experience and would be a great asset, especially in a full-time scenario.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
No additional funding is required. Funding exists in the current FY2026 Register of Deeds budget.
