BACKGROUND:

County departments, Union County Public Schools and South Piedmont Community College submit annually through the budget process their request for long-term capital needs.

This presentation will give an overview of major capital requests that would require a long-term financing revenue source.

This presentation will provide property tax debt models for the County as well as UCPS to illustrate the future debt service requirements associated with the individual capital project financing as well as the current outstanding debt.

This presentation was previously presented to the BOCC on April 15th and additional information was requested from the BOCC to give direction on these requests.
