The regular meeting of the Union County Board of Commissioners scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2026, will not be held out of an abundance of caution for public safety due to inclement weather.  All items on the agenda will move to the next regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:

BACKGROUND:

Per sections XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX of the FY 2024 Adopted Operating and Capital Budget Ordinance, management reports the following County Manager Budget Amendments (CMBA) made by the County Manager for the third quarter of fiscal year 2024.

CMBA 14:  To appropriate funding for employment settlement distribution, board action 12/18/23 BoCC meeting.

CMBA 15:  To appropriate additional funding from the Alliance for Children for updating a lactation room.

CMBA 16:  To transfer funds from the FY2024 Class & Compensation Reserve, and existing lapsed salary, to implement Phase 1 of the Class & Compensation plan in the General, Water and Sewer, Solid Wase, Workers Comp and Property Casualty funds. Approval authority stated in Section XV of the FY 2024 Adopted Operating and Capital Budget Ordinance.
