ACTION REQUESTED:
Adopt amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the Union County Board of Commissioners.

BACKGROUND:
The Board’s Rules of Procedure guide the operation of the Union County Board of Commissioners and its meetings. The proposed amendments modify the Board’s Rules of Procedure to increase efficiency in the conduct of Board meetings, reflect current practice, and make changes based upon applicable law. Two documents are attached to this agenda item: a comparison document showing where the proposed changes will be made, and a clean version of the Rules of Procedure with the proposed changes fully incorporated.
