ACTION REQUESTED:

(i) Authorize the purchase of real property located at 5301 Friendly Baptist Church Road and 0 Friendly Baptist Church Road (Union County Tax Parcels #08231002C and #08231002B) in the amount of $140,000; and (ii) authorize the County Manager to execute all necessary contracts and documentation to effectuate such purchase.

BACKGROUND:

This agenda item is for the purchase of two adjacent parcels of property located on or near 5301 Friendly Baptist Church Road (Tax Parcel #08231002C and #08231002B).  The property, once purchased, may be used associated with remediation of an environmental health issue or any other lawful purpose.
