ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to 1) negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item, 2) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and 3) terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager's discretion.

BACKGROUND:
Under this agreement, Atrium Health Laboratory will provide essential anatomic and clinical pathology laboratory services to South Piedmont Regional Autopsy Center (SPRAC).
The initial term of the contract spans from January 17, 2025, to January 16, 2028, totaling $60,000.00, with an estimated annual cost of $20,000.00. The contract contains two (2) one-year renewal options. Funding will be sourced from State funds allocated to the SPRAC.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The anticipated annual cost for this service is $20,000. Since this contract contains an initial term of three years and two (2) one-year renewal options, a total amount of $100,000 is estimated to be spent. Funding will be sourced from State allocated funds.
