ACTION REQUESTED:
1) Adopt Resolution for Grant of Easement to Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC and 2) authorize the County Manager to approve and execute such documents as may be required to complete the easement conveyance.

None.
BACKGROUND:
Union County has been approached by Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC for the purpose of Duke Energy acquiring a perpetual and non-exclusive easement interest in Union County’s 3208 Presson Road property. In order to provide service to Wingate University’s Education Farm located on the property, this easement will allow Duke Energy to install, maintain, and access the facilities on the property.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$1.00 paid to the County by Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC.
