ACTION REQUESTED:
Review and approve requested fee to be added to the Human Services Agency’s Division of Public Health Fee Schedule.
BACKGROUND:
The Union County Human Services Agency’s Department of Public Health requests approval to adopt fees for the following CPT Code:
90678- Abrysvo Respiratory syncytial virus vaccine for Maternity Health Patients.
This vaccine is only authorized for pregnant women and adults 60+ yrs of age. It would primarily be used in Immunizations and could potentially be utilized in Maternity if the patient was 18 or younger (state supplied) or insured (private).
This fee was reviewed and approved by the Public Health Management Team on July 3, 2024.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The revenue generated by the requested fee will assist the Human Services Agency’s Department of Public Health in covering associated clinical costs.
