ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to 1) negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item, 2) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and 3) terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager's discretion.

BACKGROUND:
The Division of Public Health has utilized the contractual services of Living Goodness, Inc. for Medical Director services since October 2018. The existing working relationship with the provider (via Stephen Keener, MD, MPH) and his knowledge & years of experience as a Public Health Medical Director facilitates efficiency and effectiveness in our operation. This arrangement provides valuable skill sets and professional expertise that enhance our ability to carry out important public health functions in the County and allows consistency in our Medical Director leadership. We request to continue this agreement with Living Goodness, Inc. for Medical Director services.
The Public Health Department has utilized the contractual services of Living Goodness, Inc. for Medical Director Services since October 2018. Living Goodness, Inc. has been effective and efficient in meeting our service needs, and we are requesting to continue this service for an additional one year.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The anticipated annual cost for this service is $81,450.00 and is budgeted accordingly for FY25.
