ACTION REQUESTED:
Adopt resolution approving invoicing from and payment to Lawrence Associates, PA in the amount of Twenty three thousand, six hundred and ninety dollars ($23,690.00) for surveying services completed for the County Manager’s Office.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Union County Manager’s office authorized Lawrence Associates, PA to conduct land surveying services from December 2023 to February 2024 and from March to May 2024 for project numbers 7096 and 0007/5222. Project 7096 is for a land purchase for the Jail / Medical Examiners office. Project 0007/5222 is for the Piedmont Innovation Park. This action item requests the Board to approve invoice payments in the amounts of $10,500 and $5,346.25 for project 0007/5222 and $7,843.75 for project 7096 totaling $23,690.00.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$23,690.00 is available in the associated project appropriations to cover the cost of these land surveying services.
