ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to dedicate right-of-way consistent with the attached plat and to sign the plat map.

BACKGROUND:
As part of the development approval for the new Forest Hills High School campus NCDOT has required improvements along Old Highway 74. These improvements require right-of-way dedication of approximately 0.220 acres of property. Since Union County is still the owner of the campus property the County Manager will need to sign the plat map to dedicate the right-of-way. The Union County Board of Education approved this request at their meeting on June 4, 2024.
