ACTION REQUESTED:
Consider appointments to Boards and Committees.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Vacancies exist on the following Boards and Committees, which have been advertised in accordance with the Board's Rules of Procedure:
1) Agricultural Advisory Board - The terms of James H. Howie and Gerald W. Mangum expire on June 30, 2024. Mr. Howie and Mr. Mangum have applied for reappointment. No other applications have been received.
2) Centralina Workforce Development Board - The Clerk to the Board of Commissioners' Office received notification from Centralina Workforce Development that Eric Tillmon, who serves as the Registered Apprenticeship Representative is resigning effective June 30, 2024. This vacancy is an unexpired term ending June 30, 2025.
Scott Panagrosso has applied to fill this vacancy. Centralina is requesting the nomination of Mr. Panagrosso to fill this vacancy. No other applications have been received.
3) Union County Land Use Board - Vacancies exist on the Union County Land Use Board for two regular members and two alternate members. One of the alternate member positions is an unexpired term which ends on June 30, 2025. These vacancies have been advertised in accordance with the Board's Rules of Procedure, and applications have been received as follows:

4) Region F Aging Committee - Two vacancies for regular members exist on this committee, one of which is an unexpired term ending June 30, 2025, and one vacancy for an alternate member. These vacancies have been advertised, and applications have been received as follows:
