ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to 1) negotiate and execute agreements substantially consistent with this agenda item, 2) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreements, and 3) terminate the Agreements if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager's discretion.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
None.
BACKGROUND:
Union County has existing agreements with fourteen (14) Community Partners. Three (3) of these contracts exceed $50,000 and, therefore, fall outside of the Manager's contracting authority for approval. These are:
Safer Communities Ministry: $80,000 (no increase over FY2024)
Union County Community Action: $69,263 (no increase over FY2024)
Union County Community Arts Council: $52,018 (no increase over FY2024)
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
Funding for these contracts is included in the FY2025 Proposed Operating & Capital Budget and is pending adoption by the Board of County Commissioners.
