ACTION REQUESTED:
Adopt the Resolution Approving an Invoice From, and Payment to, the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts in the Amount of Forty Thousand, Seven Hundred Dollars ($40,700.00) for AV Equipment Installation Services at The Union County Judicial Center.

None.
BACKGROUND:
Union County authorized the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) to contract with a third party to install audio-visual equipment at the Union County Judicial Center. Based on state statutes, the administration and funding of the infrastructure of NCAOC buildings is the responsibility of the County the building is in. Although there were sufficient funds in the budget ordinance to cover the work performed by NCAOC, there was no purchase order or agreement to authorize the payment. Therefore, the Board of Commissioners must grant approval of payment for the attached invoice in the amount of $40,700.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The anticipated cost for this service is $40,700 and is budgeted accordingly for FY2024.
