ACTION REQUESTED:
Adopt Resolution to Extend the Wesley Chapel Fire and Rescue Service District, Abolish the Providence Fire and Rescue Service District, Extend the Wesley Chapel Response District, and Abolish the Providence Response District.
PRIOR BOARD ACTIONS:
1) April 1, 2024, Regular Meeting, Agenda Item # 24-223 - Board adopted Resolution beginning the process of expanding the Wesley Chapel Fire District.
2) May 20, 2024, Regular Meeting, Agenda Item # 24-345 - Public Hearing conducted.
BACKGROUND:
This aims to extend the Wesley Chapel Fire District to incorporate what is currently the Providence Fire District.
