BACKGROUND:
Union County has been awarded a planning grant by the Charlotte Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CRTPO), with funding starting July 1, 2024, and running through June 30, 2025. Union County has committed $20,000, with the total project budget being $240,000. $28,000 in local match is being provided by participating municipalities. The City of Charlotte serves as the administrative support for CRTPO and is the pass through of funds from the NCDOT for this project. The attached interlocal agreement has completed the contract review process and allows Union County to request reimbursement for $192,000 related to this project.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
$20,000 in FY2025 Union County funding for grant.
