ACTION REQUESTED:
Provide CHSB members an updated Handbook
BACKGROUND:
Public Health Accreditation benchmark (BM 36.1) requires a dated Board of Health (BOH) handbook updated in the past 12 months. Under Union County’s consolidated human services model, the Human Services Board carries out statutory responsibilities of county boards of social services and county boards of health, therefore provision of a Board handbook is not only a best practice but will also serve to meet this accreditation benchmark.
