BACKGROUND:
Wesley Chapel fire department currently provides fire service for Wesley Chapel service area, Weddington Municipal Service Area, and Providence fire service area. The Town of Weddington has requested that the municipal service area be incorporated in the Wesley Chapel fire service area. As part of this incorporation, it would make sense to incorporate the small areas of Providence that are remaining for the old Providence District.
