ACTION REQUESTED:
Authorize the County Manager to 1) negotiate and execute an agreement substantially consistent with this agenda item, 2) exercise any renewal or extension term options set forth in the Agreement, and 3) terminate the Agreement if deemed in the best interest of the County, each in the County Manager’s discretion, and 4) adopt Capital Project Ordinance 312D.

BACKGROUND:
On 11/22/2023, the Procurement Department partnered with UC Water Business Operations to issue Invitation for Bid 2024-047 Expansion Connectors - Handwheel Type . On 12/19/2023, three bids for the project were received and processed. All bids were tabulated, reviewed, and certified by UC Water Business Operations. The bids ranged from $294,625.00 to $357,075.00. Staff recommends that the project be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, Consolidated Pipe and Supply Company, Inc., in the amount of $294,625.00.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The cost for this contract is $294,625 with $44,540 of the funding coming from Revenue Bond Issuance Investment Income and $250,085 of the funding coming from unallocated funds in the Capital Improvement Program.
