BACKGROUND:
Per sections XV, XVI, XVII, XVIII, XIX, XX of the FY2024 Adopted Operating and Capital Budget Ordinance, management reports the following County Manager Budget Amendments (CMBA) made by the County Manager for the second quarter of fiscal year 2024.
CMBA 9: To appropriate revenue and fund balance/retained earnings for outstanding contracts, purchase orders, and available project/program balances for expenditures, projects, and programs of fiscal year 2024.
CMBA 10: To appropriate vehicle insurance proceeds received due to a total loss on May 1, 2023 for vehicle #46-14 and transfer funds from the centralized wrecked vehicle supplement and Social Services operating budget to replace wrecked vehicle.
CMBA 11: Transfer Centralized Revenues & Expenditures vehicle capital outlay funds to the Sheriff’s Office for approved vehicle replacements.
CMBA 12: Transfer to close out the W&S District Fund as approved in the Adopted FY2024 Budget Ordinance section XX.
CMBA 13: To appropriate funding for settlement based on board action during the December 18, 2023 BoCC meeting.
